From Corporate Ladder to Franchise Success – My Unique Entrepreneurial Path

by | Jul 1, 2023

My journey into franchise ownership was a leap of faith. After a successful stint in the real estate market, the impending market crash in 2007 pushed me to consider new avenues. Franchising appeared on the horizon as a promising opportunity.

I started by purchasing a franchise license for a tax preparation company, quickly expanding from 1 to 20 locations within nine years. The safety net that franchising provided, combined with the thrill of entrepreneurship, was invigorating.

Subsequently, I ventured into the beauty industry, partnering with two franchise concepts. As area developers, we successfully opened 9 new locations in Los Angeles and Orange County, enjoying an impressive run until my successful exits in 2023.

This journey has cemented my belief in franchising as a viable and rewarding career path. It gives you a chance to utilize your corporate skills in an entrepreneurial setting, enjoy more flexibility, and impact your community positively.
